Leah Bunker Bucholz
1914 - 1996

Leah Bunker Bucholz, 82, of Richland, died Saturday, December 21, 1996 at Kadlec Medical Center. She was born to Steven Albert Bunker and Albertina Crosby Bunker April 21, 1914 in St. George, Utah. She had lived in the Tri-Cities for 52 years and was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Shoreline Ward, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, General Federation of Women's Clubs, and the Republican Women's Club. She was on the Election Board, she loved to play pinochle, grow roses and was an avid seamstress.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Bucholz; her son Shyrl Bucholz of Chicago, IL; daughers, Karen Dennison and Jeanne McLaughlin of Richland; grandchildren, Andy and April McLaughlin, and Amy and Erich Bucholz.

She was preceded in death by her brother Clive in 1949.

Family will receive friends Thursday at 1:00 p.m. December 26, 1996 in the relief society room at the Jadwin Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on December 26, 1996 at the Jadwin Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland.
