Elva Thomson Bunker
1912 - 1987

Elva Louise Thomson Bunker, 75, one of the Lord's Elect, passed away November 10, 1987 at her home.

Born March 15th, 1912, in Ephraim Utah to Andrew E. and Gladys Wall Thomson. Married Elvin Bunker, September 1, 1937 in the Manti Temple. She was raised in Ephraim and graduated from Snow college. She had gifts for teaching and music and although, working outside the home while rearing her family, her home was always neat and clean. She raised her family for the last 43 years in Salt Lake City, where she werved faithfully in various colling in the Wells Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked for 20 years and retired from Auerbach's Department Store. The last seven years of her life she worked in the Salt Lake Temple everv week, wase active in the Daughters of the Utah Ploneers and loved and served her family.

Survivors Include: her husband; four sons, Karl E., Larry E. Garth {Tom) ond Gaylen K., all of Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren; brothers ond sisters, Thelma McArthur, Mt. Pleasant, Utah; Garth Thomson, and Edward (Ted) Thomson, both of Ephraim; Afton Jensen and Norma Spence, both of Salt Lake City. Preceded In death by a brother, Carl Thomson.

Funeral service will be held Friday, November 13, 12 noon In the Wells ward Chapel, 1990 S. 500 East. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Thursday 6-8 pm. and Fridav one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment: Mountain View Memorial Estates
